Vishva Sharma, an accomplished civil engineering professional, currently serves as Assistant Manager at AFCONS Infrastructure Limited – A Shapoorji Pallonji Group Company. With nearly a decade of hands-on experience in the construction industry, Vishva has consistently demonstrated excellence in execution, quality assurance, and stakeholder coordination. He is presently associated with the Indira Sagar–I Multi Village Scheme (MVS) project, where he contributes to execution leadership, quality governance, and site coordination. Known for his grounded leadership style and sharp on-site decision-making, his journey from the hills of Himachal Pradesh to leading critical assignments in Madhya Pradesh reflects adaptability, resilience, and unwavering professional commitment.
Over the years, Vishva has worked across some of India’s and the region’s most technically demanding infrastructure projects. He played a key role in the EPC contract for four-laning of the Pandoh Bypass to Takoli section of NH-21 (Km 221.305 to Km 242.00) in Himachal Pradesh under NHDP Phase IVB – Package II (Hybrid Annuity Mode), where execution precision and coordination were critical in challenging hill terrain. He has also been associated with the T-74RB South Portal, Khari, Jammu & Kashmir, part of the Udhampur–Srinagar–Baramulla Rail Link (USBRL) Project, one of India’s most strategically significant and complex railway infrastructure initiatives.
Earlier in his career, Vishva gained valuable international exposure while working on the Punatsangchhu Hydropower Project (1020 MW) in Bhutan, executed for PHPA. Operating in high-risk geological and environmental conditions, he contributed to civil execution on one of South Asia’s largest hydropower projects, an experience that further sharpened his technical judgment, risk awareness, and execution discipline. Across these assignments, he has consistently demonstrated the ability to deliver results under pressure while maintaining safety, quality, and compliance.
What truly sets Vishva apart is not only his technical expertise but also his leadership mindset. A firm believer in teamwork, ethics, and continuous learning, he balances execution excellence with empathy whether mentoring site teams, supporting clients, or upholding environmental and safety responsibilities. His authentic presence on social platforms as “Himachal Wala Engineer” reflects a grounded professional who values purpose over position.
As India’s infrastructure ambitions accelerate, Vishva Sharma stands among the emerging leaders shaping the future of civil engineering building not just projects, but resilient, sustainable progress for the nation.
