Abhinit Kumar is a performance-driven Project Engineer and Production Planning Professional with hands-on expertise in SAP MM & PP, manufacturing operations, and cross-functional execution. Currently working at Elixrr Industries Pvt Ltd, he plays a critical role in production planning, time management, and cross-functional coordination on the shop floor. Based in Mumbai, he actively contributes to ensuring smooth execution of manufacturing operations by aligning resources, managing workflows, and supporting process efficiency across departments. In addition to his project responsibilities, he will also be taking on Production Planning leadership once the current project completes. He brings deep technical expertise in SAP Materials Management (MM) and Production Planning (PP), enabling seamless integration of inventory, material flow, and production scheduling.
Prior to his current role, Abhinit built strong expertise as a PPC Engineer at GREENPLY INDUSTRIES LIMITED, one of India’s leading MDF manufacturers. During this tenure, he managed monthly, weekly, and daily production plans, coordinated closely with Production, SCM, QA, and Feeder Shops, and handled EMF and MRP processes using SAP MM and PP. He was instrumental in inventory optimization, engineering change implementation with zero non-moving generation, new model coordination, and IPPT execution. His ability to manage dispatch planning, vendor coordination, and SAP-based scheduling while leading teams highlighted his operational strength and people management capability.
Earlier in his career, Abhinit gained valuable exposure at Hero MotoCorp, where he worked in PPC roles focused on production scheduling, material flow, and SAP-driven inventory management. His foundational technical experience was further shaped during his time as an Instrument Technician with National Petroleum Construction Company in the UAE, where he handled calibration, maintenance, safety compliance, and instrumentation troubleshooting in oil and gas operations. He began his professional journey as a Factory Supervisor at Tanya Galvanizers, overseeing shop-floor operations, quality checks, inventory control, and workflow optimization.
