The appointment is part of HIMIL’s strategic expansion and focus on innovation-led growth aligned with India’s defense modernisation priorities. Known for its robust engineering capabilities, advanced R&D initiatives, and customer-centric solutions, HIMIL continues to strengthen its leadership team as it scales operations and diversifies its technology portfolio across defense electronics and aerospace systems.
With over two decades of distinguished engineering leadership, Ratnesh Kumar Gaur has held senior technical and managerial roles at Tejas Networks, Saankhya Labs, Honeywell, Keysight, Airbus, and BEL. An IEEE Senior Member, he brings deep expertise in wireless communication systems, software-defined radio (SDR), embedded systems architecture, and defense-grade electronics. His technical proficiency spans RF and microwave systems, signal processing, real-time embedded software, hardware–software co-design, and systems integration, with hands-on experience across end-to-end product development in complex, regulated environments.
Holding an MTech and MBA, and recognised as an Engineering Gold Medalist and State Merit Holder, Ratnesh is known for his ability to bridge advanced technology with strategic business outcomes. In his new role, he will drive HIMIL’s engineering vision, strengthen R&D capabilities, and accelerate product innovation across avionics, radar systems, communication equipment, and electronic warfare solutions, reinforcing the company’s position in India’s rapidly expanding defense manufacturing and Aatmanirbhar Bharat ecosystem.
